Welcome to BuyerWatch. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Acceptable Use and Platform Policies

BuyerWatch is designed to assist you in monitoring public social networks (such as Reddit, X, and Bluesky) and drafting relevant, contextual replies. When using BuyerWatch, you agree:

• To comply with each target platform's policies, terms of service, and API guidelines.
• Not to use the service to conduct automated spam, target individuals with malicious content, or post low-quality boilerplate text.
• That manual review is the default, and that you remain responsible for any content sent after you explicitly enable confidence-gated auto-send.

2. Third-Party Platform Policies & External Changes

BuyerWatch provides lead discovery, intent scoring, and response-drafting tools that interact with independent third-party networks (including Reddit, X, and Bluesky). We do not own, control, or operate these platforms.

• Upstream Policy & Technical Changes: Third-party platforms may at any time modify their terms of service, developer policies, rate limits, API availability, or anti-automation rules without prior notice.
• Limitation of Accountability: If an external platform changes its rules, restricts third-party access, or limits assisted interactions in a way that impairs BuyerWatch's functionality on that platform, BuyerWatch cannot be held liable or accountable for resulting service interruptions, delayed signals, or feature limitations on that specific network.
• Refunds & Subscription Continuity: Because decisions made by external platforms are beyond our reasonable control, disruptions caused by third-party platform policy changes, API suspensions, or technical barriers do not entitle users to retroactive refunds for past or current billing periods. You may cancel your subscription renewal at any time without penalty, and your access will continue through the end of your prepaid billing period.

3. Accounts and Security

You must provide accurate and complete registration information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account access credentials and OAuth tokens. BuyerWatch cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.

4. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds

When paid plans are available, purchases, subscriptions, invoices, cancellations, and refunds are processed by Dodo Payments under the terms shown during checkout. BuyerWatch does not collect or store full card numbers.

Operational incident communication and requests for service credits or refunds are handled under our Service and Incident Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

5. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership

You retain all rights and ownership in your keywords, company descriptions, brand assets, and customer configurations. You grant BuyerWatch a non-exclusive license to process this data solely to deliver the service. BuyerWatch, its underlying software, algorithms, interfaces, and branding remain the exclusive intellectual property of BuyerWatch.

6. Termination & Suspension

You may terminate your account at any time via your account settings. BuyerWatch reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our acceptable use policy, abuse rate limits, or engage in malicious or unauthorized activity.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

BuyerWatch is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated content will always be accurate. You use the service at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall BuyerWatch, its developers, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or platform account access resulting from your use of the service.

9. Modifications to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service periodically to reflect product updates or legal requirements. Updated versions will be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of BuyerWatch after revisions constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
